From New Haven, Connecticut, Damond acquired his passion for Public Adjusting at the age of 19. After nearly a decade of working for his father’s public adjusting firm, Damond founded his own public adjusting firm, called For The People, in California.
After learning of the multiple perils that overwhelm California, Damond felt the need to extend a hand to communities that need his services the most. His primary goal is to treat people with care and to handle the client’s insurance claims with their best interest in mind. Damond currently serves in the United States Air National Guard, serving the country alongside your community.

Born in New Haven, Connecticut, Lamar has excelled in his work from an early age. Lamar earned his Connecticut public insurance adjusting license at 18 years old, at one point holding the title of the youngest public adjuster in the state of Connecticut. Lamar brings over a decade of experience to the table as the Vice President and co-founder of For The People. Lamar’s goal is to make an impact in communities with his knowledge, resources, and experience.
Troy has been a contractor since 1994 and later found himself working as an independent adjuster; estimating large-loss commercial and residential insurance claims. Troy has gained insight into insurance carriers' large-loss procedures during his days as an independent adjuster. Formerly working alongside the insurance companies.
Troy knows exactly what documentation procedures are pivotal to gaining an upper hand in your insurance claim. He now works as a Public Insurance Adjuster, Estimator, and Expert Witness. With his 30+ years of experience and extensive knowledge. Troy has established himself as one of the most successful Public Insurance Adjusters in the State of California. He is a military veteran who serves in the United States Navy.
Troy also serves as the Chief Financial Officer; holding a Master of Business Administration. As Chief Financial Officer his duties are to oversee and manage daily operations and prepare strategies for appraising and negotiating a policyholder insurance claim. Troy provides his expertise and ability to interpret ambiguous insurance policies which allows property owners to receive the maximum amount of indemnification for their claims.
He reviews policies, estimates, and reports to determine covered and uncovered items so that our firm can negotiate with the insurance carrier to a final and fair settlement.

Victoria Willis has been in the insurance industry since 2010. She has made a career in the insurance industry by performing inspections and preparing reports. Victoria also worked as a construction worker for several years. She is certified as a Mold & Indoor Air Quality Inspector.
She now serves as a Public Insurance Adjuster and estimator. Victoria holds the position of CEO for VIP Mold Inspections LLC & Exquisite Air Testing LLC. With her 12+ years of experience and extensive knowledge, Victoria has established herself as one of the best Public Adjusters in the State of California.
